Hello, I'm Christy Johnson, and I'm so honored that you're here!
I’m a wife of 15 years and mother of two daughters, ages 13 and 11. When I'm not photographing newborns and babies, you'll find me strolling the aisles of Target with a coconut chai latte, walking nearby nature trails, reading suspense novels and personal development books, or taking my kids down in a fierce game of Sorry or Uno!
As a Raleigh newborn photographer since 2009, I specialize in newborn, baby, child and family photos in my Wake Forest, NC photography studio. I've helped hundreds of Triangle families capture some of the most important milestones of a growing family!
My clients call me "the baby whisperer" and beg me for all my tricks for getting newborns to sleep and toddlers to cooperate! Babies and young children are my favorite people in the world, and I love to find ways to connect with them and pull out their real personalities and natural smiles.
My mission is to help busy parents like you create organic, timeless portraits for your home that show your child just how fiercely they are loved from the very beginning.

Newborn photography sessions take place within the first two weeks of life. Be True Baby is known for our soft, signature style and natural, baby-led posing, as well as crafting beautiful artwork pieces from your newborn photos. The comfort and safety of your new baby is our top priority!
We are a full-service photography studio specializing in portraits for newborn and baby's first year. We offer the highest quality fine art prints, heirloom albums, framing and gallery wrapped canvas to display in your home, and birth announcements, and digital images for sharing.
