“I cannot say enough about the Be True Baby workshop! It was an invaluable experience.
One of the best investments I have made in my photography journey!

Christy was patient and kind. During our model sessions, she was sharing her entire process from posing, angles, lighting and camera settings. She was even looking at our LCDs for interactive help as we shot! We spent a lot of time in her studio, which was so comfortable. Being able to see all of the product and props, etc and ask questions along the way was invaluable. We were also able to watch her edit – from start to finish – images from each of our model sessions. She also gave a wealth of information on business and marketing. This workshop was kept to five participants maximum, and that was a very smart call. The Be True Baby Workshop went above and beyond my expectations!

Meeting Christy and the rest of the attendees gave me a fresh perspective on my art, my business and my personal goals. I have a big to-do list and cannot wait to accomplish it. Christy gave me the confidence I needed. It was seriously the best two days ever and I was sad when it came to a close. I left feeling refreshed and inspired, and I am so excited for what the future holds!”

Anna Wisjo of Anna Wisjo Photography wrote a lovely review of the Be True Baby Workshop on her blog, including this:

“Spending time with Christy and the other participants was a true privilege and Christy made us all feel very at home in her gorgeous studio. I walked away feeling renewed and inspired. I have a fresh perspective of what I want to do with my business and how I want my clients to feel both before and after their session. I am excited to see where this will take me.”

From Meredith Bernard of Meredith Bernard Photography:

“I’m so thankful for the past two days at the first ever Be True Baby Workshop. I’m thankful for Christy Johnson, who was willing to share what she’s spent years, blood, sweat and tears learning, in an effort to help others on the same path.

I left with a renewed vision of my calling, my gift and my job – which I’m blessed to know are one in the same. I left believing more in myself and my abilities, with a desire to always strive to better both – owing that not only to my clients, but my family and myself. I left with plenty of tangible notes and “next steps”…but even more with intangible “notes” on my heart as to why I do what I do, and why it IS important, tangible work.”
